8 Days Rwenzori Trekking

8 Days / 7 Nights

From 2,150

The 8 Days Rwenzori Trekking via Kilembe Trail is an elite high-altitude expedition crafted for bold explorers seeking one of Africa’s most mystical and least crowded mountain experiences. Deep in western Uganda, the Rwenzori Mountains rise like a hidden world between clouds and glaciers—an ancient kingdom of ice, mist, and giant alpine flora.

This powerful journey leads you to the summit of Margherita Peak (5,109m), Africa’s third-highest mountain, via the spectacular and remote Kilembe Trail—a route known for its raw beauty, dramatic valleys, and untouched wilderness. Unlike busy trekking corridors, this trail offers silence, scenery, and soul-stirring adventure.

Starting and ending in Kasese, you will spend 7 nights in eco-lodges, alpine huts, and mountain camps, carefully selected to balance comfort and authenticity. Each day reveals a new world—lush rainforests alive with birds and monkeys, rolling moorlands filled with giant lobelias, glacial valleys carved by time, and snow-covered ridges that feel completely otherworldly.

Guided by our experienced mountain professionals, this expedition blends safety, precision, and passion. Every step is supported by expert planning, high-altitude knowledge, and a deep respect for the mountains—ensuring your climb is not just a trek, but a transformational journey into Africa’s legendary “Mountains of the Moon.”
