We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.

Moshi Town
Day 1: Arrive in Moshi, Kilimanjaro

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet Kili World Born Safaris’ representative, and transfer to your hotel in Moshi town. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a classic stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the morning there will be a briefing with our guides, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the cycling tour.

Hotel check-in starts at 2:00 PM.

Day 2: Moshi → Lake Jipe (80 km)

Begin your cycling adventure toward Lake Jipe. Ride through scenic farmland, banana plantations, and coffee farms, passing local villages along the way. Arrive at your lakeside camp for a peaceful evening by the water and a dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Lake Jipe → Same (80 km)

Cycle across gently rolling hills and rural landscapes, experiencing authentic Tanzanian village life. Stop at markets, schools, or roadside tea shops for cultural interaction. Arrive in Same and enjoy dinner at Jonson Villa.

Day 4: Same → Mkomazi → Irente Viewpoint (96 km, vehicle-assisted transfer)

Cycle through the scenic Mkomazi region, enjoying open landscapes and rural villages. After the ride, transfer by vehicle to Irente Viewpoint in the Usambara Mountains. Enjoy panoramic views of terraced hills and valleys before settling into your lodge.

Day 5: Korogwe → Muheza (63 km)

Descend from the highlands into the fertile plains. Cycle through rice paddies, banana plantations, and small towns, stopping to experience local life and interact with villagers. Arrive in Muheza for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 6: Muheza → Pangani (41 km)

Ride through tropical landscapes toward the Indian Ocean. Pass coconut groves, small farms, and fishing villages before arriving in Pangani. Relax on the beach or swim in the warm ocean waters and enjoy fresh seafood for dinner.

Day 7: Transfer to Dar es Salaam or Moshi

After breakfast, transfer by vehicle to Dar es Salaam or Moshi, depending on your onward travel plans. Take in scenic views along the route and rest after several days of cycling.
