Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet Kili World Born Safaris’ representative, and transfer to your hotel in Moshi town. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a classic stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the morning there will be a briefing with our guides, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the cycling tour.

Your adventure starts in Moshi, cycling west with Mount Kilimanjaro watching over you. The route takes you through Chagga villages, past banana groves, coffee farms, small-scale horticultural farms, and patches of lush forest.

As you pedal further west, the scenery opens into wide Maasai plains. You’ll ride over a mix of tarmac and gravel, with gentle hills along the way. By the time you arrive at Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village, you’ll feel the change in landscape and culture, with a chance to meet the Maasai people and enjoy the local wildlife.

Today, you start cycling from Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village toward Arusha. The first highlight is Arusha

National Park, where you’ll cycle through scenic trails surrounded by savannah, forest, and crater lakes, spotting wildlife like giraffes, zebras, and buffalo along the way.

After your park adventure, you continue your ride into Arusha, enjoying views of the rolling plains and local villages. The day ends at African View Lodge, where you can relax and reflect on two days of unforgettable cycling and cultural experiences.

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and transfer by vehicle towards Tarangire. Since the full distance is too long for cycling, approximately 100 km will be covered by vehicle. You will drive to Makuyuni Junction, where the cycling adventure begins.

From Makuyuni, start cycling towards Lake Burunge along a tarmac road, passing through beautiful countryside and local villages. The route continues to a small trading center called Mwada, home to the famous Mbuyu wa Mjerumani (The German Baobab). From Mwada, leave the main road and continue on a murram road leading to the shores of Lake Burunge.

Arrive at Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge in the late afternoon after completing approximately 65 km of cycling. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge. Relax and take in the peaceful surroundings as you prepare for the next day's adventure.

After an early breakfast at 8:00 AM, your cycling guide will meet you at the hotel for a brief introduction and safety briefing before departure. You will then begin your ride, cycling through scenic landscapes and passing wildlife corridors that connect Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Along the way, you will also pass Maasai traditional settlements and enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley.

The route follows a tarmac road for most of the journey, with the final stretch on a dirt road as you approach Mto Wa Mbu. A short stop will be made to rest before continuing. You are expected to arrive by midday or early afternoon, after which the rest of the day is free for relaxation.

In the morning after breakfast, you will meet your cycling guide for a short briefing before setting off on the final stage of your journey. You will cycle towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate, marking the end of your cycling adventure.

After reaching the gate, you will transfer back to Karatu and return to your lodge. Here, you can relax, enjoy a well-deserved rest, and celebrate the successful completion of this rewarding and challenging cycling tour.

On this day it is best to leave the hotel as early as possible so you can see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours; breakfast will be packed in lunchboxes specifically for this purpose. At 6:30 AM you will set off for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after about an hour you will already be inside the crater.

Ngorongoro is one of the most famous and interesting of Tanzania's national parks because here you can find the greatest number of different animal species per square kilometer. You will have the chance to see buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippopotamus and feline species such as caracals and servals. The luckiest travelers might even see a rhinoceros, an animal whose numbers are rapidly declining.

After having lunch in a special area, you will continue game-drive and later in the evening will be transferred back to your hotel in Arusha town.

Rest in the hotel and transfer to the airport based on your flight timings.
